I think you could get a 20v 1.8t VW until about '06. My 2000 GTI had an 058 block instead of an 06A, so the old style engine block. The Audi AEB engine is an 058 as well. That early engine made 150hp while the later engines made 170hp. The mk1 TT had a 180hp option as well as a 225hp option. I don't think we got a mk1 A/S3 that early in the US.
