Qatar's new business-class fare. Qatar Airways has begun selling unbundled business-class fares in most markets, including flights from the U.S. to the Middle East. Based on our initial searches, the new fares don't actually appear cheaper than what you would have expected to pay previously. Instead, they lack some key services and amenities

Even flying Qatar's world-best Qsuite business class won't get you into Al Safwa … at least not for free. Qatar Airways has started selling (expensive) day passes for the Al Safwa lounge. If you're flying Qatar Airways business class, you can buy a six-hour pass for Al Safwa for 600 QAR: about $165 USD.

After a few more minutes of exploring the biz lounge, I headed over to the Al Safwa First Lounge, which recently began accepting paying business-class flyers. Business Class is offered on all flights but expect major differences in seat designs depending on which aircraft type is operating. The Kuwait Airways fleet Qatar Airways’ new high density A350-1000 configuration features 395 seats, including 24 business class seats and 371 economy class seats. In other words, these high density A350-1000s will have 68 additional seats, as 22 business class seats will be eliminated in favor of 90 economy class seats. On the A350-1000, business class currently k7sXq.
